Greg is a church planter, pastor, and social entrepreneur. He is the lead pastor of Veritas City Church in Washington, DC. Most importantly, he is married to Grace, and they have two children — Cora and Iver. They reside in Georgetown.

Before planting Veritas City Church, Greg oversaw the life-stage ministries at Foothills Church in Knoxville, Tn. From rom 2010-2016, the life-stage ministries of FC grew from 15 children/teenagers to over 400 hundred children/students and 100+ volunteers.

Greg planted Veritas City Church in September 2017, and it has grown to over 150-people engaged in 2-years in the heart of Georgetown. On July 31, 2018, Veritas moved into their new home on the Georgetown Waterfront before their first birthday.

What is more, Greg currently serves as the Assessment Director for SENT Network — a mid-Atlantic and interdenominational church planting network, as well as a trainer and regional coach in Washington, DC for the North American Mission Board.

As a social entrepreneur, he is the founder and president of Spero Ministries in Washington, DC. Spero has two arms to it, with the first being Spero Coffee — a supportive and transitional employment coffee shop in the Georgetown community. The second being Spero Homes — a supportive housing environment. Spero launches in 2020 at the Georgetown Waterfront in Washington, DC.

Passionate about leadership, Greg serves in this lane as both a coach and author.

He currently coaches many pastors and church planters in both formal and organic relationships all over the states and abroad.

Greg is finishing a doctorate in leadership at Southern Seminary and will graduate December 2019.
